$74 million to quit your job

So I’m reading the news about this big stock market bailout. I came across something that blew my mind. This guy named Alan Fishman was just offered a top executive posistion at Washington Mutual three weeks ago. Recently, companies are cutting back on mega-salaries offered to bank CEO’s. Because of this, Fishman was offered a 19 million dollar severence package. The only stipulation is that he has to remain on the job until JPMorgan Chase successfully completes its purchase of WaMu’s banking assets. I can never believe the luck of some people. Not to mention the amount of money they are receiving. I did some investigating and saw that wasn’t even the best part.

The actual CEO of Washington Mutual, Kerry Killinger’s package is amazing. His deal is looking like he will receive $54 million over the next five years along with a $20 million severance check! For quiting his job!

I can only hope that throughout my life I can find ways to be put into situations and opportunities like this. I’m quite sure that when Kerry Killinger was 24, he had no idea that such an opportunity was going to be presented to him years down the road. I will just use this as another motivation for me to do the things i need to become successful.

I dont know about this. I love ferrari. I love a F430 or the new California or even a hard top joint. Im disappointed with the looks and idea of this. They say its just a concept and have no real plans of production. Thank you, stick to the exotic sportscar that everone knows and loves. While your at it give me one for taking the time to write my opinions about them

What am I doing with my life?

Im sitting at work on a saturday morning. Damn this week flew by me. Not that I got anything real accomplished but I just feel like my life is passing me by. I need to get away and experience new things. Ive been going out of town most weekends and it is usually a nice escape. Then when i come back i always get back into a routine that i am beginning to not enjoy. Is this normal in life or should we really truly enjoy our lives to the fullest? What do I get to look forward to? Being with my girlfriend tonight? Sleeping in on sunday, watching football all day? While these are great escapes, I cant help but to always have the thought in the back of my mind that “what am I really doing with my life?” I need a change and I am realizing that I am the only one who can do that for myself

Listen to Young Jeezy

Ive been banging the young jeezy cd for a couple of weeks now and its just not getting old. His choice of beats and the realness of his lyrics make it a great album for me. My suggestion is start it off at the top and let her play thru. “The recession” intro is a banger and jeezy talks some real shit on there. Real shit as in real every day problems that the every day music listener can relate to. Dont skip over number 3. “by the way” might be one of the best concept songs on the album. Just like every other jeezy album in the past. There are plenty of typical Jeezy style tracks to fill up the album. Once again he comes with a certified banger that reminds you that this guy is good, real good. “Put On” is the first single to come out of the recession and it was an obvious good choice. So good in fact, the boy Jay-Z had to put on and make the remix that pushes this song over the top to greatness. The final song on the album is another Def Jam collabo. “My president” features Nas and will probably be one of the next singles off the album. All in all this was a great effort from Y. Jeezy and has made it past week two in my cd player. Go buy it.

Good Morning.. or is it?

Well i woke up late for work this morning. I rushed around getting ready. I left out of my house forgetting basically everything I would need to have a successful day. Once out of my house I noticed that it was raining. Juuuuuust Grrrreat, a rainy day. There seems to be a tropical storm in the area for the next couple of days. A tropical storm would almost be nice if i was on vacation somewhere in the tropics. Nope, I am in the northeast and it is cold and raining for the next three days. Well enough complaining, who knows things could look up….
